We gave a much-needed facelift to a dated 1980s home, seeing its hidden charm and turning it into a modern gem. We put a lot of care into the process, making a bunch of improvements to bring out the best in the property.

Inside, we completely changed things up, rearranging the layout to make it more practical and cozier. We installed big windows from top to bottom, letting in loads of sunlight and making the indoors feel connected to the outdoors.

We didn't stop there – we also made the kitchen bigger and better, perfect for anyone who loves to cook. We wanted the whole place to feel open and easy-going, so we made sure there was plenty of space to move around in.

Overall, we aimed to make the house more enjoyable to live in and nicer to look at. And now, it's like a whole new home – a modern masterpiece that shows off what a bit of creative design and hard work can do!

This amazing Mid-Century Modern Alden Dow house was a total mess when we first laid eyes on it. But with some serious teamwork and the help of Dow Studios in Midland, Michigan, along with the new owner (who, by the way, is the grandson of the original owner), we pulled off something incredible. Alden Dow, a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright, is famous worldwide for his one-of-a-kind designs, superb craftsmanship, and mid-century design skills. Taking on this project was a real honor for us. We poured our hearts into it, determined to uphold Dow's legacy in every way possible.

Log Cabin

In the 1940s, an old logging camp sat along the shores of Lake Charlevoix, featuring five tiny log homes. From this historic setting, we chose one cabin to transform into something truly remarkable. We paid special attention to the barn's board and batten exterior and interior, ensuring it blends seamlessly with its rural surroundings while standing out as a true beauty.
